Accelerator Backups

Hi ,

I just want your suggestion, we are having a windows policy with accelerator enabled we found that it is taking too long time than it should take.

So we made new policy with same configuration (we made it new not copied it from older one), and we found that after running two backups the jobs is taking 6 hrs less than older job.

 

Can you suggest why the older policy is taking more time, because both of them have same configuration.

Reading through your post details if all the configuration seems to be the same my guess is that the track log maybe corrupt .. track logs are policy and backup selection specific.. on the original policy you could either attempt to run a forced rescan schedule or simply remove the old track log and re run the backup as it seems its more of a test setup where-in although the new policy is working correctly you would still like to get some kind of an rca on the issue..
