Accelerator feature in Storage Groups

Hi,

I have come accross one issue where if i create a Storage group(ODC) inside a storage unit and check the accelerator feature the policy do not save. If i remove accelerator and then save it we are able to save. Just want to know if this is the limitaion on the Netbackup or is there any way to solve this.

Hello,

yes policy backups must be tight to one and only one (deduplication based) storage unit to utilize accelerator. Because it is related to the previous backup already saved to the certain storage unit. Is there is a potential to switch between storage units in individual backups, then accelerator track log (which is only one pre policy/client and is saved on the client) will be always invalid and thus job will have to reset it.
