I need to backup some especific paths into oracle folder i.e. DISPD100/zones/disvd111/root/home/oracle/rapidmagic DISPD100/zones/disvd111/root/home/oracle/raj but, root user doesn´t have access to oracle folder, so as i understand there is a way to configure credentials in netbackup to backup those paths, I need configure Oracle credentials to get access, where I can setup the credentials for a client where are located the requested paths.

Do you want to run file-level backup or Oracle rman backup? For file-level backup, you can use bpbackup command in a script that is started by cron on the client, e.g. /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bpbackup -p ( policy-name ) -s (schedule-name) /folder Add a User-backup schedule to the policy with an open window during which user backups will be allowed. Rman scripts normally have 'su - oracle-user' in the script. If this is Solaris zone, then you should install NBU client in the zone as for normal client.
