Any technote to generate catalog from backup images

Any technote to generate catalog from backup images (on a external disk) which does not overwrite existing Netbackup Server Catalog.

Do you mean to 'generate catalog' from a catalog backup image?

You can 'browse' a catalog backup as if it were a 'normal' backup by changing the policy type to nbu-catalog in the BAR gui.  The files should then appear in the GUI and can be restored, although for obvious reasons this should be done to an alternate location.
