Append the data in imported media with Netbackup

how to append the backup on the imported media without loosing the data of the imported media in netbackup Server 7.1

I am afraid you cant use imported media for backups so cannot append to them further

They will remain as imported until all images expire on them

Yep, as Mark explains, it cannot be done.

No way round this.
