Archive backup failing with error code 50

HI ,

Archive backups using windows client through UNC path failing with error code 50 .

Please find the detailed status.

first i would address this message... and see its still giving the issues with backups..

please make sure you fllow steps listed in below technote to address this

B) On the backup host, create a service account within Active Directory (AD) that has both read and write permission to the NAS device. Confirm the backup host has sufficient permissions on the share by logging into it with the service account and read and create files on the share.  Make sure the user has administrator access on the client to start the services in step D

or the local admin account of the server should have full access on the share.

Please tell us more about this 'Archive backups' policy.
What type of policy and schedule?
What is the significance of 'archive'?

Does the backup fail all the time or was this a once-off?

Do you have bpbkar log on daywindpap003-bka?

It seems as if this job actually finished writing but failed right at the end for some reason.
bpbrm and bptm logs on the media server will also help to troubleshoot.

Level 3 logs should be sufficient.

Data resides in netapp , we are accessing it using UNC path from windows server. 

Netbackup service account through which archive process runs has full permission to that path .

If we are changing the file list for few files archive is getting success , for large size data it is getting failed.
