Please show us entire policy.

Run the following from cmd (we have no idea what your OS is) in netbackup/bin/admincmd directory:

bppllist <policy-name> -U

Has a successful full backup completed before Diff was attempted?

We need more information please ...

Type of backup, NBU versions involved, client O/S, paths being backed up etc etc.

Please tell us as much about the policy that is running and the full details of the job itself so that we can pin the error down

Thanks

Type Of Backup :- Differential Incremental

NBU Version of MASTER, MEDIA, CLIENTS ---> 7.1

Paths Being BackedUp ---> ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES

This Policy consists of two clients which are our MASTER and MEDIA servers and this policy has 4 types of schedules in it

1. Differential Incremental

2.Weekly Full

3.Monthly Full

4.Yearly Full.

please advise accordingly.

Thanks,

Nayab

Did you select the wrong policy type, such as MS-Exchange?

Ms-Windows for Windows OS.

Standard: for Linux, Unix.
