BMR - Modifying the Restored Registry - hanging

I've been testing Bare Metal Restores on 6.5 - the restore looks as though it's going to complete but just gets stuck at the final bit where it's

Modifying the Restored Registry

I have completed some BMR's successfully using the same ISO as the ones that are failing, anyone know why this is hanging?

I've not managed to work out why the restore hangs on restoring the registry although a symantec post suggests network. I've found a workaround which i have tried twice and has successfully restored the server. Once you server gets stuck on the Modifying the Restored Registry, reboot it. Login with the admin password and run the following

bmrcleanup.exe -force (the exe is located in the netbackup install folder).

I also do a 2nd reboot, problem solved sort of but I would like to find out why it's hanging as it's not ideal to hand over as a solution

We had faced similar issue in the past and it turned out to be some problem with broadcom NICs.
The workaround you are using above is not a very safe thing to do, especialy if you are doing a DSR/DDR.
I'd recommend opening a support ticket for this.
