BMR Problems with SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 11

Hi,

I created a CD based SRT for SLES 11. When I try to boot this CD I get this error:

mount: error while loading shared libraries: libblkid.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

the file is on the CD in die lib64 directory.

Which NBU/BMR version are you using?

Please can you attach here your createsrt.conf file available in /usr/openv/var/global on your bmr boot server?

I need to see if patching the createsrt.conf can resolve this issue or otherwise you may need to raise an SR ticket with Symantec to get official EEB on this problem.

The solution was indeed a different createsrt.conf. The configuration in 7.0.1 doesn't match all the CDs or DVDs from the Linux vendor.
