This is not a BMR error it is just a file system backup error.

The first one can be ignored - it looks liek a secure file that cannot have its properties changed - that should not actually give a status of 1 on its own as it is just informational.

The other two indicate that they cannot be processed into the snapshot - presumably they are huge movie files. Either they are open and being run somewhere or they are just huge and there is not enough snapshot space on the client to deal with them

To get those files backed up you either need to ensure they are not always open and / or increase the amount of disk space available to VSS during backups in order to capture them - see this tech note:

http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH75214

Also this forum entry may help

Please check if your client system is running out of memory or disk space.

As mark said, this is not BMR related error. You should able to see your clients bmr config entry under admin gui -> bare metal restore -> hosts menu.

Thanks.

Maybe you got confused by the bpbrm process reporting the error?

This is the backup and restore manager process that runs on the media server.
bpbkar on the client sends data to bptm on the media server and metadata (file info) to the bpbrm process on the media server.

So, as per above excellent posts - nothing wrong with BMR - just the type of files that you are trying to backup...

So if it is unlimited how much free space do you actually have on each drive on that server?
