3 years later and that's still not supported?

BMR Documentation says:

For information: Following OS recoveries on their supported virtual platforms have not been officially tested or supported but some of the customers have tried them successfully.

  • AIX recovery on LPAR

  • HPUX recovery of vPar, nPar

  • Solaris recovery on LDOM instance

The document has not been updated since 2014. 

Even the latest  'Support for NetBackup 7.7.x and 8.x in virtual environments'  doc still references this URL:
