Backing up Public Folder within Exchange 2003

What is in 'Backup Selection' in your policy?
If you want to backup individual items in mailboxes and Public Folders, you need additional configuration. See the NetBackup for Exchange Admin Guide under the topic "Configuring NetBackup for backups and restores of individual mailboxes and public folders"

For backing up the Public Folder withing Exchange 2003.

Selection List should be like given below.

Microsoft Information Store:\Storage Group 1\
