Currently running a 5230 appliance as media server. Have been successful in the past grabbing data that is exported from a NetApp filer and mounted NFS to appliance. This obviously works for backing up volumes/qtrees given ACL's and permissions are allowing access.
Now I have been requested to perform the same confifuration, but instead of backing up vol/qtree data on the filer it is now LUN's sitting in the qtree. Something tells me this won't work.
Does anyone have experience backing up LUN data (iSCSI) from a filer via NFS export mounted on the Netbackup appliance (5230)?
Filer is running CDOT.
