Hi all

Backing up of DB2 multiple partition database, encountering file read failed (13), socket read failed: errno = 119.

Master Server : Windows 2008 R2
Client/Media Server : AIX 6.1
Transport Mode: SAN Client
Netbackup Version : 7.5

When backing up of the DB2, from a multiple partition table of 8, each partition contribute to around 450GB of data to be backup at the same time.
Total Size of Database to Backup : 3.6TB

Once trigger the backup, 8 backup streams are running on for the client and the client is also acting as the media server on SAN client option.

Have tried to increase the client read timeout to 1800sec, but still encounter this error.
When data size is small, backup is successfully backed up

Any ideas what to look up for and perhaps some tuning parameter to test up.

This time round i have increases the time out for client read timeout and file browser timeout to more than 3 hours , since the entire backup duration is 2 hours + and it has successfully backed up.
