Hi Experts,

I am doing setup with netbackup 7.0 on EV 8.0 SP2

i prepaired server with domain Administrator. Now MY EV server is using diffrent user for login EVServices.

When i am going to deploy NB Client on EV server i tried to deploy it with both of usres, I make entry in hosts files also.

Pass client port numbers from Ev servers Firewall. both server can ping and able to get access by remote.

But when i am giving entry of Master server in Client installation its giving me error:

could not commnicate with master server "" backup may not functioning properly proceed anyway.

Please Suggest.. Its urgent

Hi,

Thanks for your suggestion but i resolve this issue by simply add my Server name in DNS Server.

As it start IP to Name and Name to IP resolution it show connectivity and setup complete successfully.

1) I check my client and master both was giving reply when ping.

2) I check both server able to get remote from both side.

3) I check nslookup master server not replied. by ip or name.

even i made entry in host file. I add its name into DNS server. Problem solve.
