Backup and restore the VMDK of legacy OS VM

Hi Veritas,

Would like to know if its possible to backup and restore the VMDK (full) if the OS of VM are not supported by netbackup 8.1.2

Sample
Vm running on windows 2003/2000 but the Vmware esxi is still supported.

Yes, power-off the VM, and backup the VM without file-level integration.
