Hi
We have one NetBackup 8.1 master on Redhat server and one NBU Appliance as Media server
First we configured the NBU Appliance as Media server v2.7.2 as FTMS and successfully backup clients with no problem
Then we Had some issues and had to remove the NBU Media server and reimage the appliance with v2.7.2 and configure again as Media server and Upgrade to version 3.1
I deleted the SAN clients from the NBU admin console then configured them again
install_path\NetBackup\bin\bpclntcmd.exe -sanclient 1
restart the NBU services on client
Now when I try to tack backup through FTit fails it works with LAN only
FT Backup is failing This error message
Any Suggestions !!!

Hi,
Can you check if this artcile can help you?

Other thing, did you check the connections between client and media server?
