Backup failing with 13

Hello All, We have one windows client server 2003 SP2. Backups have been failing with error code 13. in Activity monitor, job fails after "connected" without even begin writing. on client can see this error in bpcd logs: <16> resync_host_cache: about to CreateProcess(..., "C:\Program Files\VERITAS\NetBackup\bin\bpclntcmd.exe" -resync_host_cache 120, ...) Please help Client Windows 2003 Sp2 master/Media Linux 2.6 All the version are 7.0.1.2

What type of backup is this? What is listed in Backup Selection?
Has this worked previously?

The fact that you see 'connected' means that connection was successful and bpbkar should have bee started on the client, trying to snapshot volumes to be backed up.
Have you checked status of VSS writers on the client?
vssadmin list writers

Please post full bpcd log as well as bpbkar log.
Create bpfis log folder as well and post along with above logs.
Copy files to .txt files (e.g. bpbkar.txt) and upload as file attachments.

Hello Marianne, Its a normal MS-Windows backup with all local drives as selection. the backup was working good until 21st April. All VSS writers are stable and donot see any events for the volsnap or VSS. There are no bpbkar logs or bpfis logs getting generated. Only bpcd logs are there.
