Did you chek if bpcd and vnetd is runnin on the client

bpps -x

try restarting the bpcd , vnetd and pbx in the client

also, created a bpcd log dir in the client and try connecting again..

all there are in belief that you are able to ping the IP SLBACKUP01 172.27.128.70 from the Master/media server

Firewall. For sure.

Check if the Linux firewall (iptables) is stopped and disabled on this client.
