Backup is failed with error code 12

Hi,

I have been facing a problem with few of my backup clients.Its failing with error code 12. I have created one new test policy with same settings(right from storage group and everything) as my actual policy has. Then i restarted backup jobs with my actual policy and test policy simultaneously but my test backup went fine and actual one was failed.What might gone wrong with my actual policy?Any idea on this...:....

Hi!

Error 12=file open failed.

You should take a look at your logs to find which file cannot be opened. Do you use a disk storage unit ?

Hi,

This is not a single file trying to take the backup.backup selection list is all file systems on the server like /,/var/usr/ etc.

Finally we rebooted those servers and its working fine now.
