Hi All ,
Please help me in the below issue.
Master Server-Linux
Media Server -Windows -2008
Client -Linux
Netbackup -7.5.0.6
Backup of a linux client for / filesystem is failing with error "db_FLISTsend: db_end_sts() failed: network read failed (42)" , it starts writing the backup for a minute or two and it failed after that , on the other hand backup for the same client for different mount point is completing sucessully.
There is a firewall between master , media and client
Check the following logs

Hi,
Looks like there is something on that filesystem that bpbkar has trouble reading/accessing.
I would suggest create bpbkar debug log :
http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH31513
and then see where it gets stuck at?
Check if there is any nested mountpoint which might be stale.
Regards,
Kunal

Just wondering if this was also caused by the 'change in hosts file' as in this post?
