Backup is running for hours, but no error and is does no make backup

I am trying to make backup of a server, it shows that the backup is running, but nothing is happening at all, it just stay like this for hours.  I did copy a file normal between the two (Master and client) and it worked.

please check the log bpbkar in client with pid=5548 for the latest update time

and also in the bptm in media server with the pid 3892 & 6876 log to see if it is showing any updated info in the recent time

hope fully that will give an idea.. if the job is real hung or running...

Please share your OS and NetBackup versions for the servers and clients.

How many hours does it get stuck for?

What type of backup is it (Windows, Standard, MS-Exchange-Server, etc)?

We can see that you are running 'Daily_Diff' to STU 'Disk_Staging'. 

Did you manage to run a successful Full backup for this client recently?

What is this policy type? Filesystem or Application? Please show us policy config. On  master server, run:

bppllist PRA_GPNKAV01 -U

As per Nagalla's excellent post, please ensure that all of these log folders exist:

On client: bpbkar
On media server: bpbrm and bptm
