Backup job fail Error 4243 Vmware

Hello,

I have a backup fail with the error 4243 Unable to connect to the VirtualCenter server, but i have a ping to Vcenter and the credential "administrator" works fine.

Hello
How many vcenters do you have?
Also try to validate credentials using ur backuphost/media server used for backups.
Verify the server used as backup host in your policy.
And also verify all resolution names from your backuphost to your vcenter using short name fqdn and ip address and use also telnet or netcat (nc) to verify ur ports.
