Backup of Encrypted files

Hi,
We have a DLO server and we are taking backup of all desktop clients from the DLO agent and storing on DLO server.

We are taking encrypted backup from the DLO.

I am interested to use the NetBackup to take the backup of DLO server along with encrypted files. Does NetBackup support the backup of encrypted files. Any good practice to take the backup of DLO server?

The 'encrypted' files are still just files so NetBakup will back them up. The important thing is not to just backup the files but to backup the whole of DLO (db etc) so that you can decrypt them after a restore if you need to. Alternatively you could change the policy to not backup the DLO files seeing as they're backups in the first place, but it depends how you want to deal with it.

all you need do is to take either cold or hot backup of the dlo DB and then schedule a backup of the NUDF of the dlo.

i think the schedule will be based on your RPO and RTO, i guess.
