Backups Using Incorrect Volume Pool

NBU 7.5 - I created a new standard backup policy and point it to a volume pool called "TestPool". There is a new tape in the volume pool. However when I run the policy, its backing up to tapes under the default  "Netbackup" volume pool. Im really not understanding whats going on here. Any ideas?

I dont know why it was doing that but I ended up deleting and recreating the policy via the policy wizard and the policy started to use the correct volume pool.

I was going to suggest posting policy details but it seems moot. Next time try:

bppllist policyname -U

I have seen something similar when a customer copied a policy and then changed the pool name in the policy Attributes. The policy kicked off and used the wrong Volume Pool.

It turned out that the schedule had a different Pool selected.

Now that you have deleted the policy, I guess we will never know...
