Hello All,
Backups are failing with status 23 and 24 for a particular media server.
Error Logs are as follows:

05/14/2016 08:10:30 - Error bptm (pid=27155) system call failed - Connection reset by peer (at child.c.1307)

Media server OS is SOLARIS 10
Kindly suggest how to resolve this issue parmanantly.

Hello Riaan,
Issue has been identified with the media Sever ping drop issue.
We communicated with Network Team to resolve the issue and now backup are completing successfully.

Hi Saleem,
Check the bpbkar log on the client for more information. If the bpbkar folder doesn't exist under /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/ then create it and rerun the backup.

TechNote provided by you is very useful and we really worked with Network Team regarding this issue and there is a ping drop between media server and the master for some identical time delay.
