We can see that you tested connectivity from a machine called saclx155.

Where does this server fot into the picture?
Media server perhaps?

bptestbpcd output shows that the master server name is sacnbu01.sac.flextronics.com.

Under certain circumstances (e.g. database, user and ALL_LOCAL_DRIVE backup), the master server also needs connectivity to the client.

Please check connectivity from master server as well.

Oh wait! strangely the client says that PEER_NAME (connecting server) is sacnbu01.sac.flextronics.com.

Why is that? When we can see in the cmd prompt that the hostname is saclx155?
Does the master have more than one NIC/IP/hostname?
Can you show us a network diagram (with hostnames) of your environment?

If above test was run from the master, have you done the same test from the media server?

One more thing - please show us all text in Job details.

Master server name is saclx155 ( sacnbu01 is aliace name ) and i tried this command from master server.

Now i got the output from Media servers as below sacnbu02 and sacnbu03 are media servers.

root@sacnbu03 # bptestbpcd -client sacvs380-bk.sac.flextronics.com -verbose
<16>bptestbpcd main: Function ConnectToBPCD(sacvs380-bk.sac.flextronics.com) failed: 25
<16>bptestbpcd main: cannot connect on socket
cannot connect on socket

root@sacnbu02 # bptestbpcd -client sacvs380-bk.sac.flextronics.com -verbose
<16>bptestbpcd main: Function ConnectToBPCD(sacvs380-bk.sac.flextronics.com) failed: 25
<16>bptestbpcd main: cannot connect on socket
cannot connect on socket

On both media servers also check that telnet to port 1556 on the client works, otherwise it seems to be communication problem possibly related to firewall configuration.

You need to fix connectivity between media servers and client.

Ensure port 1556 is open in both directions between media servers and client,
that forward and reverse name lookup is working in all directions (use bpclntcmd with -hn and -ip on media servers and client),
and that client has SERVER entries for the media servers that correspond with resolved IP -> hostname.
This means that the name resolved by this command on the client must be in bp.conf as SERVER entry:
bpclntcmd -ip <media-server-ip>

Yes telnet is failing to 1556 from both the media servers

root@sacnbu02 # telnet 1556
Trying 0.0.6.20...
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection timed out

root@sacnbu03 # telnet 1556
Trying 0.0.6.20...
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection timed out

Either company firewall or Windows firewall preventing connectivity. Ensure Windows firewall is disabled and talk to network/firewall admins.
