Block Level Incremental Backup with NetBackup 7.1.0.2 and vSphere 5

I am having a confusion to enable BLI in the NetBackup Policy for vmware backups.

1. Want to know if I select the option of BLI and do not enable CBT(Change Block Tracking), what will be the impact.

2. What will be the difference of data backup with and without BLI/CBT enable ? We have approximate 900 virtual machines and none of them have CBT enable from vmware end. I am looking for strong data to present to customer.

Before we go into the details of your query - Vsphere 5 is supported as from 7.1.0.3.

Sorry Its typo.. we have 7.1.0.3...
