Bpstart_notify for catalog backup

Dear All,
                In our setup we have 3 hot catalog policy used to run once in a day:-

1. Catalog backup on Tape.
2. Catalog backup on disk1
3. Catalog backup on disk2

For 2 & 3, I need to clear the destination path before starting the backup. For this I have made small script which will remove the content the disk path. I have mentioned the same script path in bpstart_notify script.  Script name is given with policy name so for disk1 & disk2,It will execute separately:-

1. Bpstart_notify.catalog_disk1
2. Bpstart_notify.catalog_disk1

But I found it is not executing the 2 script before running the backup.
Kindly help me,how can we execute 2 separate  bpstart_notify script for catalog backup…

Typos?

Location? (should be in same directory as binaries Install_path/NetBackup/bin/ )

Permissions?

Hi,

Please provide us with the following:

- Script contents
- ls -l /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bpstart*

Also, I see the following in your question :

1. 
   
   Bpstart_notify.catalog_disk1
2. Bpstart_notify.catalog_disk1

Both the scripts are for same policy. Could this be a typo?
