CREATE BMR LEGACY FOR STORAGE FOUNDATION

Hi all,

I need to prepare a restore for Windows 2008R2 64bit + SFW 5.1sp2 in my netbackup environment v7.5.0.6.

I known is compatible only if I create a legacy srt...ok but  when I try to add storage foundation 5.1sp2 dvd to 

SRT the installation is stopped with this messages: VRTSmh not found ...what does it mean?

I think you may need to add the SF v5.1 base kit first to the SRT.   And then add the SP2 kit to it.

You can recover the OS disk and any non-SFW managed local disks using the normal Fast Boot SRT by using this technique:

BMR support for restoring SFW clients using FAST restore method.

This process works much better than trying to rebuild using a Legacy SRT.
