Server master?
are you referring to windows master?
read the below blog for AIR feature..
https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/blogs/netbackup-71-features-auto-image-replication
both master must be the same nb version and patch?
All master servers and media servers must be at NetBackup version 7.1 or later.
so i believe same verison is does not matter as long as they are in 7.1 or later.

I know one of stage of AIR is importing catalog.
but i think that catalog from linux master server can't be imported to windows master server.right?

No, during AIR only Image and image's header are being transered. So, there is no platform limitation.

See Nagalla's post above. He assumed you were referring to Linux -> Windows replication.
The only requirement is MSDP (or other supported dedupe storage such as Quantum Dxi) and supported NBU version in both environments - no OS limitation.
The HOWTO configuration is covered in chapter 20 of NBU Admin Guide I: http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC5157

I think AIR not only send image, but also import catalog data.

Ricky,
AIR will only import the catalog if you send it and want to recover the entire site. However once an image has been imported there is no need to recover site to recover the client. During hurricane Sandy our New York office was taken off line for two months. We recoverd every server in our Lincolnshire data center by restoring to VMs from images that had been imported without recovering the site. We AIR the catalog just incase we wnat to recover everything into a pristine environment but that is not our DR plan.
