Can I delete file 'track_journal.v1.dat'

Hi,

I'm using NBU 7.6 to back up a Windows 2008 R2 server.
After a successful backup, a big file 'track_journal.v1.dat' (> 600MB) is generated on the client box.

What does the file used for? Can I remove it?

Thanks!

The client track journal file is generated after an Accelerator backup (with 'Use accelerator' enabled).
It's key aspects of NBU accelerator, and it contain checksum entries for each file being backed up.

So, you should keep the file to ensure accelerator works fine.

Don't delete the file, the file includes meta data need by accelerator.
Without the file, your backup can NOT be accelerated.
