Can netbackup run on media servers with different OS's

We have netbackup 7.7.3 and one of our sites is being upgraded but they have built a windows 2012 r2 server.

I know this is compatible with 7.7.3 but can netbackup run ok with media servers running different OS's? The rest of our backup servers and OpsCenter all run on server 2008 r2.

I'm trying to look at best practices but all I am finidng is info saying it is compatibility matrix but it doesn't tell me if running a mixed OS backup environment.

Yes.

ANY combination of supported OS'es listed in OS SCL can be used in the same environment.

We have customers using different combinations in a mix of all supported Windows servers, Solaris, Linux (different flavours), AIX, HP-UX.
