Can't see file level in BAR on a linux VM

spitman
Level 5

Master server: 7.7.1 on RHEL 6. VM in question on RHEL 6 also.

I have done backups of this host in a VM intelligent policy (VMware). I can see VM-level fine of the host to restore:

For some weird reason I am not able to see file-level of the VM to restore:

Have I just not had enough sleep and I'm missing something here? Thanks in advance...

Have you checked  VMware guest operating systems supported for file-level recovery in this doc ?
Statement of Support for NetBackup 7.x in a Virtual Environment:  http://www.veritas.com/docs/000006177

See Table 11.
Hardly any Linux versions and filesystems are supported for file-level recovery.

But I have discovered these are Oracle Linux and not RHEL as I had thought (the /etc/release had mixed info). What I had done for these in the past is did initial full VM backups; then did everything else as unix/standard, so we could do file level but recover the original VM if we needed.

Anyways... I'll mark yours as the solution, and thanks as always :)
