Can we install Netbackup 7.6 on Windows 8

Is it possible to install Netbackup 7.6 on Windows 8. If yes, what are the things we need to keep in mind while doing this, or it is not possible.

NetBackup 7.6 Client software can be installed on Windows 8.

7.6 Server software (master or media) on W2008 or W2012.

You also need to clarify WHY you want to do this. NetBackup is primarily used to protect servers, moveable assests such as laptops (running Windows 8) should rather be protected via DLO. If the Windows 8 server will always be online and connected to the network then you can go for NetBackup.

Thanks for the information. In my case, Windows8 is always online, and I just wanted to check whether installation of Netbackup is possible on Windows8 or not, before going for the same.
