Is it possible to run two instances of backup for same dataset from same location. Or it will create some issue.

More generally, if the filer takes snapshots then it wont matter to the filer, for the snashot is read-only and unique to that task for the duration. If you run your ndmp backup you will be able to see the snapshot it uses on the filer. I'm talking Netapp here. And so if you run another backup of the same data, you can see the second snapshot as well.Jim.

It will work from the Netbackup side if you use two diffrent policies.

Why not write 2 copies simultaneously using 'inline copy' or SLP?
Or duplicate the backup straight after completion (using SLP)?
