Hi,

We currently have 1 VMware server connected to netbackup and we are able to browse and add more individual servers to the backup policy.

However, re recently added 2 more VMware servers with individual machines and are unable to browse these servers to add individual clients to the policies.

Currently using Netbackup 7 and esx v4 for the VM's

Please help.

I assume that 2 VMware server = 2 ESX hosts.

Have you configure this additional ESX hosts to NBU? under :

     Credentials > Virtual Machine Servers>New

then fill out the necessary info. then you may create the policy to browse the guest OS on your VM.

THanks

Did you configure the ESX host or a vCenter in NetBackup? Are the new servers part of the vCenter?

What have you configured under the credentials section as stated above? The ESX you had originally, or a vCenter? Is it the same vCenter that is running the new ESX hosts?
