Hi,

You don't need to create a new storage server just because the IP address of the existing storage server has changed. It is still the same device.

What you need to do is make sure that name resolution is working and the storage server hostname can be resolved (forward and reverse) by your netbackup servers.

  • Update DNS (or hosts files if you're using them)
  • Flush the PBX cache (bpclntcmd -clear_host_cache) on all servers.
