Cannot restore replicated backup using DD Boost

 Hi,

We are trying to restore a replicated backup to the DR site. The setup includes NBU with Data Domain. Data Replication is via DD Boost. We are receiving the following error:

error nbjm(pid=3792) NBU status: 2067, EMM status: Disk volume not found.

Subsequently, the media ID in the prod and dr sites are different. Does this have an effect in restoring replicated backups?

Have you configured replication between DDs using SLP?

Please show us your configuration and what you did setp by step. If correctly configured with SLP, restore step is same as restore from secondary copy - promote copy as primary and start restore. did you do so?

You may be able to use nbcatsync to update media id in DR catalogs.

See http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH127922

I see. Marianne's suggestion makes me understood the configuration. Replication is configured without SLP and is done by DD's replication feature, right?

If so, as Marianne suggested, you need to sort it by nbcatsync.
