Catalog Backup not happening

Hi Team,

Catalog back up not completing and it showing running from 2 days and below is details

Hi Sagar666,

As you appear to be running NetBackup on AIX and it is NetBackup 7.1 or earlier - can you confirm if this is NetBackup 6.x or 7.x?

If it is version 6.x, I found an old article that describes your issue.  This one is for AIX 5.3 and NetBackup 6.5.6, and relates to problems with the AIX C++ Runtime Libraries:

In the solution provided by Marianne, she has two links.  The document for the first one no longer exists, but the second link is good.  Hopefully this gives you some ideas.

PS:  If you are still running NetBackup 6.x you should really look at upgrading ASAP, as 6.x reached end of support life in October 2012.  Downloads are no longer available and most of the support documents have also disappeared (no doubt why one of Marianne's links no longer works).

Sorry we are using Linux operating system and Netbackup 7.5 Version.

Sorry about that.

Your original post had no tags, but under Operating System and Product Version your post had AIX and NetBackup 7.1 or earlier, so I was working off that.

This looks like the Parent job. 
Were any child jobs created? 

The last entry we see is this:

Do you have bpdbm log for 29th? 

 

Hi Marianne/Steve,

This problem with our nfs server. Disastery recovery file is nfs mount and  some reasons it is not able to access thats the reason job is not completed. I just fixed nfs issue later starts working fine.

You did not answer about child jobs. 

I would expect issue with creating DR-file in a child job.
