Hi Team,
I'm not good at Netbackup. Can someone please tell me how do we check if the Catalog Backup has ran(Successful/Failed) like we see all the other client backups for certain period of time through reports in Netbackup. Do we have any option to check the Catalog backup in the same way?

A catalog back is almost a normal backup, just with an extra staging job for NBDB and a parent job.
There are 4 jobs in total
1. Parent
2. Staging (same thing as nbdb_backup -online /usr/openv/db/staging )
3. Backup of /usr/openv/db/staging
4. Backup of /usr/openv/netbackup/db/images and various other directories containing config files
If the x4 jobs complete successfully in Activity Monitor, it worked.

Hey
Go to Netbakcup management\Catalog
and there select policy type NBU-Catalog - select desired time frame, all media and click on search now button....
from CLI you can type this
bpimagelist -pt NBU-Catalog -hoursago 240 -U
it will look excatly for the same data as in gui (for past 240 hours)

Look in Policies for the CatalogBackup policy.
Open the policy and check the Schedules tab.
Ensure that there is a schedule that will run at least once a day.
Check that email is sent for successful catalog backup in Disaster Recovery tab.
(Email needs to be configured at OS-level. Windows master will need an external mail client, e.g. blat)
Configuration of Catalog policy is covered in NBU Admin Guide I.
