I have just arrived a t a new contract and have found that the Netbackup server is reporting images on disk that is no longer present. I know I cleared out a similar problem several years ago but cannot remember how I went about it. i.e. images on e:\ which is now a CD drive. Any help please it is a manual clear out that is required. bpexpdate does not work.

You're probably seeing the image clean up jobs are reporting errors.

If the images were on E:\xxxx you need to just create E:\xxx again (rename the CDrom to Z:\). Then run nbdelete -allvolumes. It will clean up the images that are stuck.

So 'images on disk' report shows a list of images but the disk or folders on disk no longer exist?

Can you show us a snippet of some image id's and the command that you have used to attempt the expiration?
