You need a SUN Sparc or Linux media server with specific model Qlogic HBA.
See HCL: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH76495
and NetBackup SAN Client and Fibre Transport Guide http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC5189
as well as the Troubleshooting Guide (that contains lots of config info): http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH51454

Thanks Marianne
I heared from my friend (if you install the Redhat Ent. Linux for the FT media server you cannot backup virtual server on the VMware ESX , therefore you should install SUSE linux for backup both phisical server and virtual server on the SAN)
Is it true or not ?
Thanks so much.

That is true if you want your FT Media Server to be the backup host as well. If your Windows master server is the backup host, it can be the SAN Client.
Please note that what I am saying here is all my own theory - I have never done it myself.
Hopefully someone else with 1st-hand experience can help us here....
I remember that there were similar questions about this topic on this forum, but I am unable to find it right now....

It's been 6 weeks with no response....
Good news is that NBU 7.5.0.5 has been released in the meantime which added support for RHEL as backup host.
