Clustered (VCS) NetBackup upgrade

Hi,

I have a task to upgrade a NBU 6.5.6 clustered domain on Solaris. The domain includes a 2-node clustered NBU Master/Media (active/passive) and a 2-node (active/passive) clustered NBU Media servers. Both clusters also have clustered apps. As mentioned both are NBU 6.5.6.

I have to upgrade these to NBU 7.5.3. My question is whether, as an iterim solution, I can have a NBU 7.5.3 Clustered Master/Media server and NBU 6.5.6 Clustered Media servers. I am aware that it would be possible if Media wasn't clustered, but is it possible when it is? Can EMM accommodate this?

You will get a very full report.

NBU 7.x will wrok fine with 6.5.x media servers, the fact it is a cluster should make no difference.
