Media server in NBU cannot be clustered. Only the master server.
There are different ways to provide High Availability for media servers:
- Create Storage Unit Groups
- If you have clustered clients (e.g. clients in a SQL or Fileserver cluster) and you want to make them media servers, you can install each of them separately as a media server, and then create one Storage Unit using the virtual hostname that is assigned to the clustered application.
We call this app_cluster in NBU.
