Command to query vSphere contents

Hi @ all,

I want to extract to content of what NBU see in vSphere. I want to extract the information about client , datastore and so on. I'll use this information to check if my policies correspond to best practice (max 4 job for each datastore).

The way NetBackup accesses vSphere inventory is through vADP API.  There is already a command line interface available from VMware (it is known as the vCLI) using which you can obtain details on vSphere objects which uses the same vADP framework. You may want to consider installing vCLI in your backup host and use scripts to parse and compare vSphere and NetBackup objects.
