Configuration With Nimsoft of Netbackup

Can anybody please let me know which logs should be monitored by Nimosft in case of failure alerts.

I think bpdbjobs should do?

Checked from google Nimsoft is a service desk monitoring tool.. 

adivya, if you are just relying on netbackup command outputs, bpdbjobs output can be used but not sure to what extent do you need it to be. 

Preferably deploy an OpsCenter server in the environment.

yeah i was also hoping bpdbjobs output will do, but it is not showing enough info, do we need to change

the verbose level to 5 to happen it.

actually Nimsoft is a alerting tool and we are planning to integrate to netbackup to give us failure.

Nimsoft dependancy is on the following things mentioned below

1.       We can monitor transactional log file.

2.       By monitoring process responsible for the same.

3.       By monitoring the folder in which are expecting the file to be backed up.

adivya, the best bpdbjobs can do for more details is:

bpdbjobs -report -all_columns

I do not have Nimsoft experience, so it's better you get the output above and try to consolidate into what you need.
