Configuring NetBackup Live Update Server

jmanini
Level 4

I'm at the beginning stages of configuring NetBackup Live Update on my Master server so I can push updates to my hundreds of machines if necessary. I'm having a hard time locating the base 7.5 Live update files for my different clients. Can someone please get me started with these? I have no problem finding the incremental updates, it's the base updates are elusive... I've downloaded the base windows files but still cannot find the live update files??

I setup the LiveUpdate Server to push 7.5.0.3 to a client who had the 7.5 base installed...I received this error

NetBackup_7.5_LU_tar...files are the base 7.5 Live Update files.

About the error - did you install LiveUpdate on all the clients?

LiveUpdate installation guide says:

On all NetBackup servers and clients, the nbliveup log directory is created when
you install NetBackup LiveUpdate.
