Copying a backup on-demand

Good morning, all.  

We would like to create a manual (or on-demand) copy of our last Monthly Full backup for specific systems.  I understand this can be done with a command line function, but I don't know what command I need to run.  Anyone doing this now?  The goal is to copy those backups and the catalog to another disk for DR purposes.

For creating another copy of a backup image, the options are:

• (manual) Use Administration Console > NetBackup Management > Catalog > Select Duplicate and then search for backup image(s) that you want to duplicate. Right-click on the image to duplicate and use the wizard to setup the duplication job.
• (manual) Use command bpduplicate (ref: https://www.veritas.com/content/support/en_US/doc/15263389-147313249-0/v14661169-147313249). It will require list of IDs to be duplicated.
• (automatic) Setup SLPs to generate the duplicate images automatically after backup completes https://www.settlersoman.com/netbackup-storage-lifecycle-policy-slp-overview/ or About Storage Lifecycle Policies.

Automatic option of SLP (or AIR if you use MSDP) is the recommended method as it uses NetBackup internal features.
