Creating SRT x64 failed with "Installing of Veritas NetBackup Client to the SRT failed"

Hi,

I made upgrade from NetBackup 7.7.2 to NetBackup 8 and I made BMR rebuild

after rebuild I registered the new BMR boot server running windows 2012 R2 and I created SRT x86 with no errors

But when I try to create SRT x64 I got the error "Installing of Veritas NetBackup Client to the SRT failed :Click back to rety"

even I browed the NetBackup 8 installation media to the the path name PC_Clnt\x64\Veritas NetBackup Client.msi

I tried another server and I got the same error, also I tried to use the Client from Version 7.7.3 and same error

My BMR master is NetBackup appliance 5230 with NetBackup 8

There are multiple causes for this failure.

I would recommend to go through the article mentioned below. Its similar issue but acknowledged  in NBU 7.x

I solved the issue today

It was because of Mcafee antivirus once I disabled and retry SRT created without any issue
